Tanzania Agribusiness Event that happened on May 31st 2017
We are pleased to announce the Tanzania Agribusiness Event, which will take place on May 31st 2017 in The Hague, the Netherlands. This event is part of a visit of the Tanzanian Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries to the Netherlands from May 29th until June 2nd 2017 on the invitation of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Netherlands.
The day will start with an official opening and a kick-off of the Center for Development of the potato industry in Tanzania. The program of the event is built around several in-depth sector sessions on vegetable and fruit sourcing, fisheries, potatoes, agro-logistics/infrastructure, aquaculture, livestock and business opportunities in Tanzania for Dutch companies. The sessions are based on the results of recently performed studies and aim to indicate the next steps.

The Tanzania Agribusiness Event is organized by the Ministry of Economic Affairs in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), the Tanzanian embassy in The Hague, the Dutch embassy in Dar es Salaam and the Netherlands-African Business Council (NABC).
