In order to limit the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Tanzania is imposing new travel restrictions, that include a mandatory 14-day quarantine upon entering the country. Any traveler – national or foreign – coming into the country will be tested upon arrival and will be quarantined for 14 days within a designated facility at their own cost. These restrictions stand for the foreseeable future. The Embassy will continue to provide updates, should the restrictions change.
